The HAY Balcony Lounge Armchair designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, is a low and comfortable lounge chair with armrests for outdoor use. The wide, square design is softened by the rounded back, with the multiple holes in the seat and back strengthening the construction, as well as creating a distinct expression. Made in powder-coated steel with an outdoor primer for optimal resilience and durability, Balcony is available in a number of different colour options. The chair’s stackable design means it is well suited to all kinds of spaces, from small balconies and terraces to gardens and other larger outside areas.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec the Paris-based design brothers from Brittany have been working together since 1998. Ronan is a graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts in Cergy before starting their own studio. They have transformed the design industry and offered new perspectives of materiality and purpose.
