As we can finally enjoy the company of our close friends and family, what better way than to spend our time with them outdoors. Outdoor Living during summer is something that perks us all up and our outdoor spaces, whatever their size, are being seen more and more as an extension of our homes.
As we are in the throws of revamping our own outdoor space we thought we would create a special outdoor edit of our favourite pieces from furniture, portable lighting, dining and accessories.
The Palissade range of outdoor furniture by HAY is possibly our favourite, designed by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and available in three powder coat steel finishes - Olive, Anthracite and Sky Grey.
The modernist, functional Desert Lounge Chairs by ferm LIVING are available in an array of colours and patterns and are now available as a Desert stool. The lightweight chairs can easily be moved around to create your ideal space. The textile seat is made from recycled plastic that has been spun into PET yarn, making it especially durable and ideally suitable for outdoor use, however we feel they equally work well indoors.
Enjoying your outdoor space during the evening calls for some portable lighting. Our favourite chargeable lamps are the Carrie Lamp by Menu and the HAY PC Portable Table Lamp.
Adding greenery to any space has proven benefits for both the body and mind.
